The spawn protect is a good thing... but then I was never very good at camping.

Oops... I'd thought spawn protect was off on the DM server.  I see it's 1.0 seconds.  I'd be OK with turning it off on the DM server as that was supposed to be a stock server.

OK the settings on DM should be all stock now, except powershield is mapped to powerscreen.

Should that be stock too ?

I think the power shield is over-powered.  Inevitably a good player gets it, and often doesn't die.  Some players will wait in that area until it spawns before they move on.  I just think an item like that, that some people overly focus on, can totally change the way a map is played, and not in a good way.  DM8 becomes king of the mountain instead of a map where stuff can happen all over.  Leave that to the KOTH maps =)

Agree that most players would prefer the powerscreen over powershield for balance.
