the 26th, I'm supposed to be going out to a friends` show(starts for 10pm)...not sure what the pre-game is going to be like...or how I will feel the next day..

not the best of days for me..still possible I guess, will have to play it by ear..

in my opinion, dm3 is/was definitely a north american staple as a duel map..offers a different style of play compared to the other maps (which is why I think it should be included)..but just like everything else, times change..map lists change...whatever..you get the idea


for the maplists.....

5 maps: dm1 rdm2 rage(locks) dm3/ptrip/aero(pick 2 of the 3)
7 maps: ^ + rdm7/koldduel1/ztn2dm2 (i'd lean towards km personally)

I'm pretty much down with you or haunted's map list. Looks good to me but I'm just waiting to get a few more opinions from the other players in roster list. Gonna try to limit down the tournament bracket to 8 players, but I might extend it depending on who else I can get to play in this cup. Here's the current list so far:

Slugskie, haunted, adrenal1ne, kickr0, PyR3X, naymlis, f0cus, betty

I'm still open to fader or vae to play, if they change their minds. Personally, I would love to see the "new blood" to go up against the old guard, regardless of the outcome of the match.

I have actually the last slot for Pboy, but I'm not sure if he will play. Last I heard his computer is still broke, and I'm not sure if he wants to play in this or not. I will have betty take his place if he can't play. I'll be a sub if someone can't show up, but I don't really want to play in this because I can't focus enough if I'm admin'ing for the tourney.

Yeah, I don't think that date is good for streaming too. I'm busy on the 17-18th, so any other date besides two weekends in August would be good. So that would be either the 10-11th or 24-25th of August.

I'll have to work some more on the rules too. I will probably just have best 3 out of 5 for grand finals no matter what side of the bracket you come from, since that really confused and pissed off players in the previous cup I just ran. No more FGC rules in a PC shooter tournament, lol.

little odd that people like betty are in though and not other duel regulars like xcr and worm (though i guess they are dm1 only)

some one should dig up kyuss, his trolling ass would be actually be appreciated in this event... and flarez cause everyone loves flarez

and if anyone is close geographically to pb, kick his ass and set him up with quake2 on a smart phone or something... could still prob rape face doing that

Why would aomeone propose relatively unknown players that don't use AC, and who are Dm1 only, for a cup that has multiple maps and requires AC?

because kyuss is a dueler, and xcr/worm are two of the most active 1v1 players right now though they do need to learn more maps
