Another night off's progress...its ...Leafy!

Like the background tile,and the twaks to the river panel....but the vines and leaves....dunno. It'll be seen on every page! Opinions,puh-leeze!

Finally found time to do some work ..busy last two weeks for me. Small but signifigant changes:finally designed buttons for the mess,in keeping with the plant boarder theme. And you'll notice the new names of the sections they'll lead to: I plan on recycling more old artwork and using them for the side sections. Home and Comic strip will always lead to this first page. But here are the old headers I'll be using...

Strange Conjurations...home to all the Old Art,and they will be sectioned off into 4 catagories in symmetry to the buttons:Graphic Novel,Preamble,Old Comics,Loose Art.

New Horizons... all my new stuff...loose art and selected panel bits.

The "signature" I use is the original idea,but this is more of the direction I'm going for...a reworking with newer art.And here you'll find news,rants,links like I post here and all sorts of stuff I like or endorse. So stay tuned for more!

Did this for my nephew when he graduated highschool last year...the inside says"But is the World ready for YOU?"

Not surewhat it is myself...but most drawings I do aren't planned,merely discovered.

Ponderous things...a freestyle visualization of an idea,and a bit of "science" delivered by the Professor.

Whipped this up in a day...it helped to have 90% of the material already prepared. The Weirdness sideart!

Nextwill be the final sideart,the New Horizons picture. Same theme,but definately needs new figures. And then I start assembling the website!

From mid May to mid July what's left of my family,my sister and my nephews,have their birthdays. I am giving them cards with cash and something special within...

This first had a picture on the front of a penguin dressed up with shades high heels and a purse,so for my sister I did this expansion of that theme...

My older nephew is working in the movie industry now,as a key grip and being a minor boss at the tender age of 22. The front of his card quotes Ghandi,saying"Be the Change you wish to See in the World"...so this is what I did for his...

And my younger nephew wants to be an artist like his dear ol' Uncle,and his card says,"Life isn't about Finding Yourself.Life is about Creating Yourself" a theme I easily expanded.

The Professor in a semi finished form. The background is done,the boat and the person rowing the boat are drawn but not processed as yet. Jeremey I'll deal with last...have to figure out how to stuff the boat with details like this yet not let the figures dominate the scene...that city is half the picture. We shall see!

New Horizions is finished.And now Really finished. Forgot I had that CamCorder thingie drawn and ready for coloring,so I did that,installed it to the scene and added tweaks to the rest,and now I can move on satisfied.

And finished surprisingly earlier than schedualed.Managed to salvage that Jeremey. Lovely drawing,I started darkening the creases of things and painted in his prickles and it looked wonderful,except that the image will be the size of a postage stamp and terribley dark and blotchy.But I isolated the Prickley colored bits and played around with the hue and contrast and managed to get a reasonable definition. I also threw in a few random things,Johnathan ,the fairy(to give jeremey something to look at where his eyes are pointing to and saying hello. And the hawk head of Professor Milo's famous All Purpose Walking Stick filled up that grey empty area below the hologram. I tucked them into the boat one at a time until it all made sense visually,then mashed it into one layer I could experiment with size and scope.

Next...building the website!

Mostly Done,and most of the links work. Some sections have nothing at them,some have a few trifles to start,done merely to have an updating methodology in place for later. A life's work,and more to be dug out and flung up there....go see!

And I thought I drew too much stuff on birthday cards.

The kids always getting me to draw cakes, balloons, gifts and stuff all over them.

Great work, I like the pen and ink stuff the best. The black and whites on the Jeremey page are fantastic.
