pre-aiming at obvious control points on rage with railgun, is pretty standard play.
taking the shot bc you can hear footsteps over there is also fairly normal.

All told, had the opponent in those vids been crouchwalking it would have looked worse. I use stock step sounds unlike most of the euros and I could tell that guy was there. The bit where he pre-aims directly thru the RA wall is actually the worst looking part of both vids.

there were a couple of wallhacks that were able to get by AC for short periods of time. One was a result of how open source APRq2 is and how it's renderer is built into the client. Another only worked on ATI cards bc of a specific driver series.

Afaik, both are still out there, but do not work on correctly configured ac servers with a specific list of allowed clients.


re: a 3dfx wallhack, I don't know that there is one, and I'd actually assume that Bonger's mention of 3dfx was just an excuse to cover the fact that he changed his renderer and got an AC kick. Had he known that only actual wallhacks get called "wallhack" by AC, he would have tried a different line of excuses.

2nd video, he lines he guy up on his crosshair for a second while he's deep in the tunnel. the actual shot was not too suspicious though.

Yeah, okay, you're fucking right. AC obviously allows a million and one people to hack the shit out of it on the servers, so let's just do away with AC because one or two people think it's flawed and unreliable. That'll god damn solve everything, won't it?
