gg guys, way to be good sports team QPONG. And I know ya'll are joking but dm7 actually was the smartest pick, unless you guys are particularly good on tastydm2 

Actually there was a lot of thought put into that. The first thing is that most duel maps have roughly 1000 health worth in pickups, where as dm7 leaves winners licking their wounds. More exciting and gives non-competive players a fighting chance.

Second is that we stood no chance to hold control of a railgun, so choosing a level without one was the best shot.

Lastly, armor control is both difficult and less valuable on DM7. Eventually armor control gave the other team domination, but for the most part it played a small role.


I REALLY wanted to do tastydm2 due to the ability to dominate with grenades and rockets given the right situations... but based on warmups, I knew that striker was a crackshot with rail. I learned my lesson when I called it against DEF in KOTH.
