I had also made a pak from the textures in vividdm1 & etc. to transform all the textures in frdm3 to the hi-res versions. (Note that you have to use the vividdm1 pak too or not all the textures will be hi-res.) I don't use them because I like my q2 to look somewhat nice

nope, i'm all stock, even lighting, gl_modulate etc. i cannot see the yellow armor under the stairs on DM4 unless i am very close to it.

Its still a bitch trying to kill athenas on dm1/red maps, but i just prefer the stock/default game i guess. Been this way for a couple years now.

I use the HD stock textures.....nice and crisp.

Brain fart- Is there a way to make specific maps use specific paks (textures) on the fly? I know there's a feature in R1Q2 that lets you load a custom .cfg to the map. Is there a way to designate paks in the same manner?

I ditched the Bullz textures a while ago. I use DaHanG's textures for ztn2dm3 and dm1. The rest I just use R1CH's high-res textures.

(PS: Those textures Erica posted are UUUUGLY.)
