Actually I am referring to my own life.  I realize that life goes by quick, and I'm glad I realized it at such a young age, gives me a better appreciation.  To sum it up for you, since you can't read between the lines: I'd rather be young than old.  I think you're mixing respect with innocent until proven guilty.  I suppose then you could say you trust everyone until they prove undeserving?  If I had met you for the first time and asked to borrow 100$ for a taxi, and said I'd go to the bank and bring it back you would, right?  Since you trust everyone until they prove undeserving of it.  Same concept.

Hope you have a good life, as well as a good barber.

didnt really wanna get into the argument, cuz QD kicks ass! but respect is most definatly not the same as trust.. just wanted to point that out

for instance.. i respect everyone i meet and havent met, not necassarily because of what they've done, but what they can do.. until they prove me wrong that respect will always be there

NOTE: most of my morals come from reading fantasy books (which was basically what raised me) so they might be kind of out-dated.. but thats not a bad thing, as most things today are SHIT compared to yesteryear and so-on-so-forth, not that all of todays technology and improvements in general convience isnt nice.. but parents/their children seem to get worse every generation.. so it just keeps getting more fucked

  Back to topic - I  think (For what it's worth)  it was the interaction between British and American artists ( blues & R&B mostly it seems) during the late '50's that set the stage for the impact  of Brit bands through the '60's and '70s which led to another interesting thing (to me anyway);  the ping pong effect of styles between the two countries and how they have built on and fed off each other.

hmm.. define metal? .. i dont think its possible to fully define metal as there are many aspects to it, many types, views, bands, feelings towards it, things like that, but i view metal as shouting or screamed lyrics with heavy yet upbeat instrumental and the occasional solo, also with heavy drumming, but hey, feel free to correct me
