But tvs weren't around in 1907.
This was a prototype. That's Alexander Graham Bell's house. His son, Packard, is holding the bike

Point of clarification: I never said it was a TV set, that was Peewee. It looks more like a trans-dimensional space-time rift and that face is either Popeye the sailor man or a Grey peering through the opening in the continuum. My money is on the Grey, I don't see a pipe in his mouth.
Yes, practical TV's were not invented until the late 1920's with Philo Farnsworth's all-electronic version in 1926. Even then, the images were tiny and it wasn't until 1936 that there was any attempt to "broadcast" TV. Then, WWII got in the way.

Boarding the streetcar in 1928. The woman running on the right never made it on board. Apparently she was sucked into another dimension and left behind part of her left leg.

Bump? You mean you want this thread to continue? I thought people had lost interest or weren't into historical pictures anyway. Well OK, here's a shot of 3 lovelies at a science fair in 1924. Nice hair...

When I was growing up in the 50's there was a certain class of young men who wanted to appear tough and masculine. They would use some kind of hair cream (Brylcreem. Vitalis), black pointed shoes and some kind of slim black pant or jean. Some of them - like this guy - could be 35 years old, but probably 18. You were never sure. And facial scarring from acne was quite common as well. All that disappeared in the mid-60's when the hippie thing, with the long hair and odd clothes started happening. But the greasy hair guys was always an indelible stamp of the 50s. Imagine that gooey shit in your hair, every day.

I don't worship the devil. Jesus is Lord, friend. He died for your sins. He will forgive you if you just ask.
