Have you seen a real ghost?

Lately I have been questioning if there really is more to life than what the human eye can see or the brain perceive. I don't normally share ghost stories out of being ridiculed however on this small part of the internet I doubt it will really matter, So I am going to share some unexplained instances that have happened to me through my life....
The first time I had experienced anything was in the house I grew up in as a kid. It was late night don't know what time. I was young. I woke up to go to the toilet and this house had a long hallway leading from the bedrooms to the kitchen. The kitchen entrance was arched. As I came out of the room into the hall there was this "thing" staring right at me poking it's head from around the corner at the end of the hall. It was orange/yellow/white it had no discernible facial features but somehow it had eyes. I felt like it was staring right through my soul. I screamed my head off and my parents woke. Mum came out and saw it too she started screaming. Dad got up but by then it vanished. No one in the house, No sign of break ins. I don't know exactly what it was or its intentions but I will never forget it.
The second time shortly after this, The same house you would often hear a typewriter in the middle of the night when we had none. One night we all got up to the TV blasting but the TV wasn't on. Not long after these occurrences my parents divorced and they sold the house.
The third instance is still occurring. My mothers house has had some strange things happen. Objects disappearing and re appearing in random places days later. Me and my ex girlfriend visited one night and she had a bag of junk food we picked up before going there. She had placed the bag in the spare bedroom. When we went to get it, it was gone. Vanished without a trace. We tore the room apart looking but was no where to be found. We stayed the night. Next morning the bag was back in the spare room sitting on the bed where it was left the night before.
I'm not saying these are really ghosts Truth is I have no idea what it was. But it does make you question your reality and what you think you know

I think ghosts are like religion. It's real
TO YOU
if you want it to be.
In reality, no I don't think spirits or souls exist.
But if I'm 100% honest, I can say I'm someone who'd "like" for them to be real, in certain circumstances, for certain purposes. Someone very close to me passed away a couple of years ago. Sometimes I'll hear noises in the house and wonder if it's his "ghost", but I know it isn't. But for those 15 seconds,... I do still wonder. And then I come back to reality.
Perceptions can be manipulated by ones own mind sometimes without them being fully aware of it. This is just one of the quirks of the human brain as a side effect of having such a developed frontal lobe full of complex emotions.
If there is life after death, and your relatives and friends watch over you, the afterlife is going to be full of nothing but everyones dead relatives being so incredibly disappointed in them for masturbating so often or wiping their boogars in places where they shouldn't.

Not really a believer of ghosts, but I do have a somewhat relevant story. My company housed me in an old home built in the 1890's one time. It was big and I took the separate/ connected by 2 big wooden doors in a small hallway mother in law suite. Two boat captains lived in the main house.
I'd talk to them and drink a few beers and these guys legitimately believed the place was haunted. I personally did hear some unexplained loud noises coming from the upstairs portion/attic. They told me this old rocking chair in the living room would move on it's own
A year later I'm watching UNC TV/PBS and a special is on: "The top 10 most haunted houses in North Carolina". I know you can already guess, but yeah, the exact house I stayed in was ranked 3rd. "Legend has it the ghost of the old woman that died in there still rocks in her rocking chair" .........
. I died laughing.

I don't worship the devil. Jesus is Lord, friend. He died for your sins. He will forgive you if you just ask.
