My silly mod

I've made a maze mod, the first one that finds the exit, wins! Then the map changes ( i only have 1 maze atm  :raincloud: )
(Experimenting with C++,)

The mod contains:
- Mazes (wow!)
- Throwable Flares (red lights)
- And that's it.  :uhoh:

I'll make more if you guys like it.

Note: the end of a maze needs a misc_teleport with target: "end" and a trigger_hurt that instagibs you.

Did you say random maze maps!?!  Check out these two maps (attached), then check out the program that made them.  Completely random map generation, configurable to make simple mazes (as the two maps attached show), as well as real playable (although not too fancy) deathmatch levels, or any variation in between...

if you want to simply remove all other items from your mod:

goto g_items.c and comment out the entry for that specific item. It will throw a "no spawn function for item *****" when you lead a map containing that item, but it will effectively remove that item from the map.

Here are the properties.

Ho ho!  Well, my friend, you can have all the random maps you could ever want, if you do the following:

1. Download the Ben2.RAR from the link in my previous post and unpack it into a folder on your system.
2.  Read the User's Guide - it's pretty simple - and setup Ben to generate maps.  You have to set your Q2 folder location and a few other things.
3.  Exit the Ben2 program.
4.  Download the attached Ben2.ZIP, which contains a newer version of the Executable, as well as a Ben2.INI file that's setup specifically for your parameters (you can edit settings from there if you wish).
5.  Generate a maze and play it (the User's Guide in the original post's link will tell you how).  This will write both a MAZE.MAP file as well as the compiled BSP file.
6.  From there, you can edit the Maze's MAP file to conform to your parameters, and re-compile.
