Delete that map file from your HD (azteklights.bsp in this case), then restart Q2 and reconnect to re-download it.

Why does that happen? Is it because the map has been edited by admins, like added blocks or whatever? Hmmm.I'm not sure, but wonder why.

Jumpmod does not edit .bsp files, it creates .add and .rem files which overwrite existing entities on server side. It can happen if your hard drive, for example, is broken, or you've downloaded different version of a map from another server.

Check if you have that map in other directories (baseq2?).

This happened to me today with tjumps1.bsp - didn't condump it but same error.

I deleted the file from jump/maps - still same error - did a complete search of my Q2 folder and there was no map called tjumps1 (there was a worstjumps1.bsp and I even deleted that too)

Same error...

Quake2 loads and caches files. If the client is running, deleting the map on disk won't fix it.

Best way: quit Quake2, delete the map, make sure it's not in moddir/maps or in baseq2/maps, you have to look in both places sometimes, re-launch Q2 and let the map download. This will place it in the mod directory of your client for whatever mod is running on that server.

Lohmatiy was correct.  I just needed to restart the client - tjumps1.bsp now working fine - awesome little map!
