server not listed in master server list of gamespy and id software

How would i get my server to get listed in gamespy master server list and other master server lists ?
The only place i was able to add it is at gameaholic where you can add it manually.

which master server does xfire use?

Not sure tastyspleen knows... last I knew it wasn't listed and when I mentioned it the admin asked me for directions on how to...

gamespy arcade used id's q2 master server & that's dead now.   GameSpy3d lets you specify the master server to check from what I've been told.

I use these:
master.q2servers.com satan.idsoftware.com q2master.planetquake.com master.quake.inet.fi masterserver.exhale.de netdome.biz master0.gamespy.com:28900

but i'm sure PQ & gamespy are down.  id is.  master.q2servers.com is run by R1CH, the guy behind the r1q2 engine.  It seems to be the most widely used one.  It lists 315 servers which could be most of them.
