I'm normally not a clumsy person, but I have had the 2 clumsiest injuries of my life within a 3 day period....

First was a few days ago. I was walking down the steps after a nice hard rain and slipped 6-7 steps away from the ground. Landed on the last step, my arm under my ass so my arm took the entire fall, and my forearm totally broke through a 1x6 lol. I have a pretty damn big bruise and it hurt, but somehow i didn't break anything aside from the step. Maybe it's fractured or chipped though and I don't know it, who knows.

Then this morning I was a little late for work. I hopped out of bed and started frantically brushing my teeth kind of. I went to brush my tongue and was still doing it pretty fast....and then proceeded to stab the back of my throat so hard that it breaks through a little and I lose like cup of blood(8 oz) if I had to guess. It doesn't really hurt now, but it's kind of irritating having a toothbrush wound on the back of your throat lol

The steps thing was just an accident in the rain. Are you able to go to a walk in clinic to get it checked out? Just to be safe.

The toothbrush thing has happened to me before. Unnerving to say the least. Now I just leave a teaspoon with my toothbrush and use that to scrape off my tongue. Less dangerous than potentially shiving my throat by accident.

I saw the stair incident happen. He was 100% sober Gator. We need to scrub those so it isn't as slippery when it rains.

lol when you did it did it bleed a lot sigma? I don't feel like i need to go to the doctor but i feel a little sketchy being that i can't see where i punctured it.. it's really far back ha. i've already drank 3 beers and eaten mexican food today and i'm like

There are so many vessels back there that are just covered with a membrane. If it continues tomorrow just call a nurse hotline to get some tips. I'm assuming there is a toll free number to get instant over the phone medical advice and tips. We have one here in BC. (you can always use a voip phone and mask your number as a Canadian one and call in to take advantage of our system if one is unavailable to you

)

If it hurts there are sprays and gargles that can numb any pain back there. Lol i keep one on hand in case my 'tobacco' pipe burns my throat a little and to stop from coughing with the good stuff. Don't think too much of it and try not to agitate the area too much by trying to look for it or use your swallowing to feel for it. It'll heal quickly as the body tends to heal those areas quicker because it can't really develop scabs there.

haha thanks gator. I bought some beer then it wasn't going down to well so i just picked up a 5th of rebel yell. Not bad for 12.95, I've been drinking it straight and like the taste a lot. Then again I love all whiskey...
