XP vs Vista - Gaming

I'm not really in support of a top case fan though, mine has one and I'm always afraid someones going to spill something down in it

hahaha I actually thought of that one myself. Since I live with just my girlfriend now and rarely anything crazy is going on, I'm not to afraid of that situation coming up.

Dual booting vista and xp is easy. Either install XP on the one partition or hard disk, and then install vista on the other. Vista will give you a boot menu.

If Vista is installed and you want to dual boot XP, you have to install XP and then boot from the Vista CD and repair the MBR, it takes a few times of running the MBR repair before it actually fixes it (at least in my experience).

Once you have the boot loader, you can tweak the countdown, names and defaults with a program called Vista Boot Pro.

I have had no conflicts so far.

Yeah I know how to setup dual boot. Maybe that will be an option. Not a bad idea.
