I think teams would be really fun, it is my favorite way to play q2 and not much of it goes on these days.  I do think it would go much better if the best players could pair up with some of the lesser skilled players though.  Everyone always talks about bringing back q2 and you are not going to do it by pounding inexperienced tdm players into the ground with stacked teams.  I would much rather see tdm newcomers learn something from more skilled tdm players by being on their teams and perhaps, just maybe, it will get some new people hooked on the best q2 experience out there.

I mean lets face it, q2 is close to dead compared to what it once was.  Winning a tdm tourney here means little, but having fun and getting people interested in it again is the best thing we could hope for.  If the only reason you want to have a tdm tourney is to win or prove who is the best its not going to work.  That is part of what has killed the tdm scene in the first place.  I think if you are not playing q2 these days just for the fun of it and love of the game then you need to find a new game.

chaos is for ffa, leave that out of a structured tourney, which should be serious, you want to have fun, go play on the public servers, thats what they are there for, lets not turn everything into a grab-ass event

well you know we were all newbs at one time, i am quite familiar with your choas, i just happened to grow out of it, however some people never stop newbing out, regardless how long a game has been out
