Hello fellow diehards,
        Is too much of a great thing bad for you? ...but of course!!! Just wanted to give my thanks out to the fellow players who frequent custom and vanilla and staff for giving us a set of servers that all types of players can enjoy.  I used to be a diehard ffa fan of the original 8 dm maps like Kansas/entropy? used to provide.  But after increasing my .bsp files to 1300, change is GOOD.  I do enjoy playing ffa, because Ive lost all my deduction and reasoning skills necessary for tourney play by raising my three teenage sons b/d DaKe and Ginth, and DumDum(whose passion is Halo2)
So those of you who know me online,  are prolly  reminded of ctc play and I'm the one with his head cut off.  Now I totally used to get pissed at spawn campers back in the day, who could eat a samich while racking up forty frags in 3 minutes, but understand the strategy of raping in tourney play.  I am slowing visiting the Lostourmind  tourney2 sites and attempting some realtime  strategy, and providing the necessary easyfragmeat that so many other players are craving!!!
                                                                  Since I'm not a big chat kinda guy,
                                                                   this should be good for a couple months
 P.S.: a big TY to daelmun for providing demos of a another twenty or so jumps i can't do on dm1

haha, no problem Problem is that I can't do them myself, so I just stick to the known and more usefull ones. But the most exciting things in q2 are to either see astonishing frags or new jumps. I'll try to collect both, the key to the first is just to play a lot, and then sooner or later you get a nice frag. Then just pretend you pull that stuff all the time As for jumps it's pretty much the same, just open up q2 and jump around on maps and look for places you want to jump to, and just look around and see if you can doublejump off something here or speedjump from here to there. Then try it till you realize it's impossible or till you make it. The longer time it takes from you find a new jump till you find out it is impossible, the more annoying it is cause you will never get the kick of landing the jump. And there is always that uncertainty whether it actually is impossible or not, it's sometimes really hard to say. However, if you actually think it is possible and actually nail it after x hours of trying, that's one hell of a kick Anyway, jumping is frustrating, a lot of time wasted on missed jumps and there are a lot of jumps you almost can do, but you're not sure whether it is possible or not. But jumping is best done when being offline, it's so much more fun actually playing. And when playing you only need to know a handfull (or two) of jumps on q2dm1 to be competitive. Anyway, good to hear someone appreciates seeing new jumps

Cool, didn't know you were dake's dad, he is one of the nicer ra2 players I've met. Maybe it's cause his dad is watching him playing over his shoulder Muahaha. Anyway, stick around some on the tourney servers. That's where it's best to hang out if you ask me

hehe yeah i found that pretty interesting.. dake's one cool ra2er. whats dumdum's xbox live gamertag for halo2? would like to play him in some games and maybe get him to let dake play me in it too
