Matchmod (?)

now THAT dael sounds like an interesting mod. 

i dont think many would want to play it, but i love all the weapons and their individual strengths/weaknesses.  That would make it interesting, and perhaps more of a level field for some players.

Habib, one of Oceanic Gaming's servers is set up like that, as you state.  i believe port 27910.  i forget the ip.  Its in australia, thier largest server.

er, you posted while i was, hehe.  Habib, as i stated above about oceanic gaming, all players spawn with all weapons, so its not that each player gets a weapon for a specified time, its all players, all weapon choices.

Matchmod (http://matchmod.planetquake.gamespy.com/) looks like a server mod like OSP/Tourney from what I've read. The 'Solaris' game mode seems like the thing you're describing.

There's also NIQ - no items quake. You get a weapon for a certain period of time, and they cycle through randomly or through a list.

You might be found wrong.  It is a lot of fun (was for me) - something about it makes the game very democratic, kind of like taking away health - anyone can go down at any time . . .

wow, niq is actually a pretty fun mod.  There are some eraser bots there to keep you company for now.
