mod server promotion

There now are lots of mods running (some of which i don't even know what they are --- but i am willing to learn if others are )

Traps?   Airstrikes?  Nailguns?  Team Play in CTF?   Hook?   Runes?   loads of new weapons and maps     

Some sound like a lot of fun      BUT   there are almost no one ever in   

could we    ( if people are interested ) start a featured event for the main mods

There was talk of sheridan saturdays and jailbreak fridays i believe 

I am sure if people were given a little help( with binds, downloads, etc) and encouragement (with other players in ) many would partially convert to CTF, JUMP, RA2, WOD, XATRIX OR ZETHER if not others

Surely someone must be interested in these from years past

I am a vanilla newb and all... (even though I hardly EVER played vanilla in my life... "good" clans just can't take losing I guess.)

I suggest we pick a popular time (such as Sunday nights at 10pm Eastern) or whatever.

Then have MOD OF THE WEEK

We can post a simple guide to the mod and a preview screenshot posted on the event calendar.

I think that sounds like a great idea - it would give people a friendly opportunity to play and learn.  Along with time to dl anything that is required.  Being slightly new to the tastyspleen world of q2, it would be fun to join in.  I would love to host a night 

Sunday evening sounds good to me.
