The proper Web design software is expensive and a steep learning curve. Download Mozilla web browser. It comes with a free web page composer. For free web templates just Google that phrase. Here's a few places:

Generally, just upload all the .html, .jpg, .gif, and .css files from your template into your public_html folder.
Your main home page should be called index.html
Hope this helps,

are there any .html files in the "4177" folder?
There should be at least 1, and you need to have one named index.html for it to work.
(if there isn't, you'll have to make one that redirects the user to your page.. it'll be easy.. I'll cover this if need be)
if there are .html files in the 4177 folder, you need to leave all the images in their folder (named "images")...
the webpage wont find 'em if you take them out of that folder..
Now, you probably want to open the 4177 folder, and upload everything in it (but not the folder itself)
into the public html folder...
I don't know how the template is set up though, so I'm just guessing at this point.
You might want to provide a link to download the template so someone can check it out and give you a more solid answer.

by "open" the index.html file, it means open it for editting, not open it in your browser.
You can use MS notepad to open it. (but you should make a backup copy somewhere else before you edit it)
Just right click on the file, and select the "Open With" option.
If notepad isn't on the list, select the option "Choose Program".
this will lead you to a long list of the programs on your computer.
Select "Notepad" now hit OK.
this will cause the index.html file to open in your notepad window for editting.
Then you just fill in the text you want in the correct areas..
save the file, and upload it when you're sure it's how you want it to look... (over-write the one thats on the site now)
BTW, You should open it at least once in your browser to check it out before you upload it, for bugtesting and such..
