no. lithium uses sv_airaccel 1 or whatever making the movement like qw with double jumps.. (but no strafe jumping)

Lithium had some weird-ass physics.  You could jump off a ledge, do a circle jump, and you'd boomerang back onto the edge you lept off of, weird stuff.

ya thats air accel its pretty fun jumping around like that but its hard to learn the movement.. most qw players should know along with cpma player i think its harder than both of them but its fun building up speed, ztn2dm2 is a good map to try with it, start ur own server and type sv_airaccel 1

The best map I have ever played is Fragtwn6.bsp It is Fragtown 6 the Pirates Cove. It is a town map surrounding a horseshoe cove. Half the map is an underwater battle. I first discovered it on a Weapons of Destruction server. That mod also allowed flying over the land and  sea. I know there is a fragtown map on the mutant server. I do not know if this map is  in the maps download section. I was a very good map and I had a good time playing it. There are many windows to snipe from. Japang.bsp the Japanese Garden is a nice map from a designer point of view. There are many good maps, too many to mention. The pirates cove is  a really good map. The only thing  missing is a docked ship.

i never liked the fragtown maps that much
but japang is my fav lvl of all it reminds me of strike and city64 so much
i guess i just like the out door maps

The whole fragtown map series is nice. Its not like regular quake as single player but in deathmatches it is like dueling on real life terrain. I like the billboards and the designs. I made a Doom 2 map of the place that i worked at, but never mastered the quake 2 map makers. If anyone can reccomened a user friendly editor for q2, I might try to make some quake 2  maps. Waded and dmaud were good doom 2 map and sound editors.

classic doom maps a heck-of-alot easier then quake2 maps almost pathetic
i couldnt even make one room in quake2

actually, i remember when I was in teh OGL 1v1 HPB ladder.. I used to pick ztn2dm2 as my map all the time.. and other players would call me lame for picking that map cause they always wanted to play Q2DM1

Always eliminate dm1 whenever I get the chance. That map is a lot about having the best spawn at least in 10 min games. I pick maps people don't like, like q2dm2 and match1 etc, easy to control map that people hates to play. Good combination

I agree with that.. I never lost a game in ztn2dm2 cause they'd be too busy pouting about it.
