Does anyone know if theres gonna be a netcast for this years QCON? i remember QC03 had gamerTV and X-tife coverage.. but both of them seem to have gone the way of the dodo.

No idea, all I know is that radio iTG or whatever is gonna do that stuff. Now q2 doesn't have a working gtv such as q3 has, q2tv is pretty buggy and not sure it even will be used. Hope there will be some sort of live streaming as they have in the CPL events though. Allthough the quality is pretty bad at least you get to see what is going on without actually having the game.

Doom3/ET/q3 for females doesn't really intrest me, only thing I care about there is the quake2. And for quake2 all I need is live shoutcast and demos, anything in addition to that is only a plus, but I don't know what they plan on.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to the event no matter, gonna be fun seeing q2 in the spotlight again. Maybe to show that the game isn't all about walking/spamming for 20 min straight with 2-1 as final scores anymore. Hope purri goes to qcon as well
