Dolan, I wouldnt doubt it if your only issue with the game was the fact it was made by a company under Microsoft. I think most people around here are aware you're a raging Linux fanboy (not that there's anything wrong with Linux mind you), but to hate the game simply for that reason would be quite idiotic. It's okay to disagree with someone and have a difference of opinion, but when you say something such as: "Halo is for people with down syndrome who can't keep up with quake" you come off as an incredibly ingorant individual. I'm tempted to throw out a friendly 1v1 offer to show how I "can't keep up with quake".

Couple things worth mentioning:

jager, go re-read your posts re: sportbikes.  You were quick to jump towards personal attacks, insults, etc.  And I'm actually a skilled rider.  You're just a fan of your sport.  You were the a-hole in that thread.  So I had a little fun in yours (which you deleted, and that's fine - I only wanted /you/ to read it once, and I was just busting your balls).

paradise, my comments were mostly in jest.  I do feel that most consoles are for kids.  Their input devices are clunky and impercise, and the fact that I can't take them or their software apart just kills any interest I might have in them.  That said, Halo and other console-based shooters are, in my opinion, dumbed down, Fisher Price versions of Quake.  That's my honest $.02.  My crack about M$ just happened to tie in nicely.  I'd poke fun at Halo if it were GPL.

I've seen your demos.  I'll lose a 1v1 to you anyday

Wasn't being a a-hole. I was expressing strongly how I feel about gay metro sport bike riders.
