RRBM, I wonder, jay said he could add loc support, which im sure would mean more people could use the client, maybe jay can give you that when its got loc support? would it be hard to re-compile it when its got loc support in? I'd need it to use it.

Quetoo builds with Autoconf.

./configure
make
make install

If you're not too familiar with Autoconf/Automake, convincing Quetoo to build on a new platform might be difficult for you :-/

As for waiting for certain features to be added, there's no reason, really.  Once someone has the Windows build sorted out, recompiling with new releases should be rather trivial.

That error is nothing major, altho it is valid.  The call to setenv() should be #ifndef _WIN32.  Do you have subversion installed?  I can patch errors as you encounter them in my subversion repository, which you could then update against.  Better yet, if you really want to hook up and get this going, you'd really do well to find me in #quetoo on irc.freenode.net.  That way we don't have to spam this forum with compiler dribble

Btw, I noticed that Autoconf didn't pick up your SDL installation.  Do you have SDL/SDL.h and the program sdl-config installed somewhere?  You'll need them in order to get a working client on Windows, as obviously the X11 and ALSA refreshes are of no use to that platform.
