still trying to access tastyspleen vanilla

well i still can't log onto the vanillal server.
please someone out there help me resolve this issue as most other servers suck.
console or adfmin im in dire need of some enlightenment.
anything anyone could do would be greatly appreciated!

Hi gonads,

Very strange... I don't see your IP or anything close to it in the ban lists.

What message do you get (if any) when you try to connect?  We had this happen to another player a few weeks back.  He could get on mutant but not vanilla.  He just got a "connecting to tastyspleen.net:27912..." message over and over but no response.

We never did figure it out

hey it's me yet again. still not having any luck getting
connected to the vanilla server.
i am not getting any messages it just says connecting over and over.
i appreciate you rebooting the server but it was to no avail.
well im starting to get desperate so any additional help you could (or anybody)
could provide would be peachy.
I havent played in two days now i think the withdrawls are starting
cold sweats shakes etc etc

What are you typing in to connect? I use the q2.kicks-ass.net:27912 one and it works fine for me. Can you connect to any of their other servers like mutant?

I use 67.19.248.74:27912 and it works like a charm.

yeah i can access all the other tastyspleen servers.
all except the one i want to play on.
 i will try whaty you suggested but im not ver hopeful at this point!

i guess i sound like a broken record but im determined.
does anyone know if reinstalling xp would resolve this issue?
i sure would hate to go through that pain in the ass without it bearing fruit.
or could spyware have anything to do with my problem

Well yes its an online game but it doesnt deal with internet explorer. If you have adaware run it if not go to http://www.download.com search for Adaware SE. Reinstalling windows will most likely not resolve anything. Other advice, set your temporary internet file storage to 1mb, helps quite a bit with some things. Best of luck.
