Hi :) Need some links

Well, I've been playin' Quake 3 alot and I'm up for some Quake 2. All I have though right now is just a fresh 3.20 install. I need some links to things such as
-pro port such as q2advance
-Brightskins (not sure how it works in q2)
-maybe a starter cfg that has things you should tweak beforehand?

http://apprime.0wns.org <-- aprq2, my favourite client, it's pretty neat.
http://r1ch.net <-- r1q2, a favoured choice by many.

starter cfg? well.. try: http://www.tweak3d.net/autoexec/quake2/english/
creates an autoexec that tweaks graphic options to somewhat your liking, then gl_modulate <number> to increase brightness, along with intensity <number> to increase brightness too, hope this helps.

Vid_gamma another one for brightness...

and for that autoexec creator..  carefull with some of the answers,  that was put together before AGP I think
Good stuff though,  think thats where I got particle explosions instead of the sprites
