Open Free For All Tourney Tonight - TS 500 III

Everyone is welcome to play in tonight's Free For All 500 frag tournament.   It starts at 10PM EST and 7PM PST at tastyspleen.net:27999.  You can also get there from any of the TS federation servers by typing "goto ts500".

Thanks to quadz for the map & server setup and thanks to [BTF]DeathStalker for organizing the voting on map, items, etc..

I hope people can make it.  Should be fun for all.

Hey all I made a cfg to advertise the TS3 tonite. Just replace in your config.cfg
bind 1 "exec TS3.cfg"

and download the attachment TS3.cfg.override and put it in your baseq2 folder. Rename, take off the .overridepart this is because we,re not allowed to upload .cfg files (???????????) .  Now when you hit 1 the message displays.

My quake2 client kept on quitting on me while I was playing. The BeOS quake2 client is not the most stable and because of the overload too many things happening  at once it just dies on me, so maybe it is time to start using a Linux client. Too bad for me. The client quit three times during game play, during the first 40 minutes so I thought that it would not be worth my scores being reset frequently, so I just cut and ran for the remainder.
