What is SETI@home?
SETI@home is a scientific experiment that uses Internet-connected computers in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). You can participate by running a free program that downloads and analyzes radio telescope data.

You download this software and set it to do work when your computer is IDLE. It also has a nice looking screensaver. Why not help search for Extraterrstrial Life using your own computer?

Theres alot of idle programs out there..  one I saw was for finding prime numbers or something like that.

If i were to do this, id do folding, it's for helping research for curing diseases, analysing data with your spare processing power, every little helps, if anyones interested I can find info out about that.
