Just wanted to say hello...

Although I *rarely* stop by the servers, I am SOOOOO glad they are here.

Quake2 is my all-time favorite game, and I LOVE to play.  I used to be pretty good (not THAT good), but since I rarely get a chance to play anymore, I suck pretty bad.  I don't care though.  I just love playing the game.

Since I am an old fart in my mid 30s, the responsibilities of life pushing gaming to the bottom of the priorities list, but I sure enjoy a good frag every now and then.

Thanks for keeping Quake2 alive, and I hope to see you all in the servers from time to time.

Oh, on a final note, I used to lurk in the forums, and I thought several months back that someone mentioned the possibility of a Pro-Lithium II server.  Did that ever happen?

i am aslo thankful without tastyspleen quake2 would no doubt be dead. they are the most populated servers in the whole community

Yes, Thanks to Tastyspleen Q2 is alive and well. I was running around server to server as they one by one shut down, then I found Tastyspleen. Thanks to Quads.

Man...I think I am "hooked" again.  This is a couple days in a row now I have been in the servers and been having a BLAST!!!

I do kinda miss the runes in Pro Lith, but I have found the railz server to be fun as hell.  Not very good, but at least I can get a frag in once in a while.

Guess its kinda like the new McDonald's slogan:  I'm LOVIN it!

Yep...in the Memphis area, but origionally from Clarksville...

The BTF WOD / Vote cfg server has a Lithium configuration on there, you just have to hope its not on WOD, otherwise the config can be voted to lithium (if you are on your own, it will just change when you want it to anyway) but if its on WOD, you need a BTF or TS rcon admin to switch it to the tourney w/ voteable cfgs set up.

Haha, awesome....I live in Memphis as well...rather, the MS/TN border.  FINALLY somebody from Memphis is on here.
