RA2 + OSP Tourney + Gladiator Bot Decompilation

Hey guys,

I just wanted to give you a short notice about two projects I have been working on lately using LLMs (Claude Code):

- https://github.com/Niehztog/osp-tourney (OSP Tourney Source Code reconstruction)

This should make it possible in the future to recompile those for modern systems like Mac or 64 bit and to fix security vulnerabilities (I am aware of packetflingers OpenRA2 mod).

Maybe this is interesting for someone. I am thinking about also reconstructing the source code of OSP Tourney or Battleground TDM mods. Maybe sometime in the future...

Somewhere in my garage I have a computer with a Windows NT 4.0 system and VC 6.0 on a SCSI disk.

Let me know in case you need help finding it. You dont need the whole IDE, just the compiler and linker, which can be extracted from the installation files.

That explains why it still works. I have the complete collection of MSDN tools and systems from Windows 3.1 all the way to Windows 7. I used to get a load of CDs from Microsoft every month or even every couple of weeks with my annual MSDN subscription. Windows in languages I'll never use.

I still keep a special collection of OS (Workstations and Servers) and all the MSFT products in a box on the shelf. I know the MSVC 6.0 kit is in there somewhere and I could probably extract it to Win10 but I'm not as ambitious as I used to be. I do have the MASM32 6.14 and masm 6.11 tools on my current system and they still mostly work. Interestingly, QB4 doesn't run at all on Win10 but QB64 does. That one sent me down memory lane...
