Radeon 9600 and Q2 Issues.

Does anyone here have a Radeon 9600?  We have them in our machines at work and I can't get Q2 to look right. It looks like it is running in software mode or something.  However, it looks great in UT2004 and Q3.  Any thoughts?  Is this a known issue?

Thanks.  If I thought our IT Department was cool with me cracking open the PC and dropping a new video card in there, I might take you up on that.  Oh well.  It looks like I will actually have to "work" at work.

I play Quake 2 with a ati radeon x740xl card and use the Aprq2 client to play online, but r1q2 works also good. Make sure you have the following lines in your config :

set gl_swapinterval "0"

I've been sick with Q2 since 2007. It's incurable.
Dying and reviving is common. It's a shame the QT was good.
