Suspicious behavior

I was on Vanilla a few minutes ago, probably sometime around 2:30ish pm Eastern time, March 2nd (just for reference, just in case). When I first showed up, there were 4 other players there, all of them were named "Private", and all of them had a ping of 36 to 37. At first I thought some dude had just connected 4 times through the same PC and was maybe killing the other inactive clients just to pad their stats or something. But then all 4 of the players were moving around and shooting, none of them with any skill at all though, I hit the 30 frag limit pretty quickly without getting killed once even though I wasn't really paying attention to health and armor that much. At one point before the map ended, one of the "Private" names changed their name to "Titz". It seemed like maybe the 3 duplicates were bot controlled or something while one was shooting and moving a little more skillfully and expected and human-like... but still like green as grass newbie who's never played before.

Really weird goings ons, Teddy Brosevelt.

if wallfly can connect, it would seem probable an advanced or similiar bot would be able to use as target practice for padding stats

Ah, that sounds kinda familiar. Perhaps I or someone else posted about this same thing before either here or in IRC. Seems like there was some dude who had his friends playing on the school network or something. Still... seems kinda odd that all of them would have the same name. Only logical explanation I can think of for that one would be if he installed the game from a CD-R with each one having the same copy of his personal CFG.

edit: Also... heads up... might be some dude who went by the name "Kill Dave" showing up soon to say I was wallhacking. Some numbskull on vanilla asked if I was cheating, and I kinda trolled him by saying "probably". Might be Slobb using an alias though. Whoever it is, it's probably the same dickbag that changes his name 20 times a day and trolls everyone.

Many of their most frequently-appearing aliases involve some form of 'camp':

Campy, CampTown, The Camp, Jed Campit, etc.

Or: PIG, pwr:pig, etc.

Or political stuff: Dumb Lib Tard, Team Trump, Kill A LIB, TRUMP is USA!, etc.

Have you seen newbs playing as "Kaeru"? Probably yes, i've seen many too.
I discovered later that there was a copy around, in south american websites, with a config with that name.

Was playing on vanilla for a while tonight. People filtered out and it was just me and this "Johnny" guy. We played most of one map 1v1, and I kinda went dick-mode and hammered him hogging up the red armor and mega, ended up 25 to 4 I think. Maybe it pissed him off. When the map changed, it said he tried to "flood the server". How, I don't know. Just thought maybe someone should be aware of it. Vanilla server, time was probably 10:25pm eastern, Nov 4 2018.

The Q2Admin software is being a bit overdramatic here, as it turns out this particular error just means the client made too many changes to a userinfo variable, like "skin" or "hand" or "name" or "rate", etc.
