Jump maps

Is there anyway or where we can upload new jump maps to the jump server.As the ones on the server are really old like from when jump begun.

Sure,

One way would be to attach the maps to a forums post in the REQUEST MAPS HERE section, if it's just a few individual maps.

If you have a whole bunch of maps in a .zip file, you could upload them to our anonymous FTP port at tastyspleen.net, in the "incoming" directory.  (Just let me know if you do, 'cause I don't check there often.)

I have probably all of them,well over 1500.It be better to just upload them all in a zip,Plus also there is the textures and some envs.So how do I upload them?I know how to use ftp,what info do I need.

Ah, yes.  Textures and envs would be great.  In fact several of the maps we already have are missing textures.

To upload:

  ftp tastyspleen.net
  user: anonymous
  password: your@email.com

Upload files into the "incoming" folder.

  ok,will get the textures and env....s up first,maps will have to be an overnight upload as maps are around 700 megs and my upload is only about 30k sec

Jump maps are uploaded now also,there may be 2 zips,I messed up on first thinking it wasnt uploading,so the smaller will be corrupt as I couldnt overwrite  renamed to jumpmaps.zip

Thanks, looks like they all made it OK.  1,748 jump maps!?!  Holy hell, that's a lot. 

Do I just put all 1748 into the map vote list???  Because I have no idea otherwise how to pick just the "good" ones, and certainly no time at present to try them all out individually.
