It is Free on Steam It Seems to have way more people but Quake II Gameplay is like a 100x better the rail gun shoots slower and everything is just Weak in Quake Live on Steam Only Cuz Noob Kids dont know how and are to young to know the FIRST AND BEST TRUE FPS GAME KNOWN TO MAN more importantly FIRST EVER ONLINE MULTIPLAYER FPS GAME IS QUAKE II If I Am Not Mistaken.

Ha, funny Focalor      Or, should I say: it's funny, humorous, laughable and amusing?   

Quake came before Quake II and had multiplayer.  I know because I sued to play it before quickly moving onto QII.

I think loadouts are still the default setting on FFA servers, which makes it not even worth playing FFA in QL.

Quake Live stutters for me...     and freezes.  Weird stuff,  I can see everyone else move around, just can't send info out.

Go to play Q2 right from there and everything works fine. 



Also,  I am unable to exit from the menu screen.  The only way I have to exit the game is to join a server and quit from the console.

  8/10 - Would get stuck in non-playable loop again.

There is another problem with the game. I heard that id software will drop support, which means the servers that they host will be gone. In some ways that's very good because finally people will be able to host their own servers and configure them to their liking, but that also means that it will harder for the average player to find populated servers.
