How to hide Windows 7 partition from XP or vice versa ?

I wanted this, so windows XP partition will not show when i run windows 7 and vice versa. And that windows 7 will not make a windows XP restore point, when i'm running windows 7.

I would just run Windows 7 as my main OS and run Windows XP as a virtual machine using Virtualbox or VMWare Player, both are free.

If you already have an install situation you can't change, you can remove the drive letter using Disk Management in Windows 7 for the XP partition. Then it won't show up in Windows 7 anymore. Not sure if you can do the same thing in Windows XP for Windows 7 though.

Thank you, it worked. Stupid windows 7 complained that was in used.
