What's funny is jumpmod does that when you silence someone.  You can still see your own chat but no one else can.  Maybe that would be a good idea for some people.

Dafrenulum only bitches cuz he's a fucking newbie and he knows it. Talks shit about spam but does it plenty himself. He rationalizes the fact that he sucks at an inconsequential video game by blaming his newbieness on the fact that EVERYONE ELSE obviously isn't playing "correctly". Fails to recognize the fact that such an attitude is no different from those who claim that everyone else is hacking because they can't admit that they aren't perfect and it might be possible for someone else to beat them at anything. Also fails to recognize the fact that his "preaching" equates to "bitching" and does not HELP anything or PROMOTE anything other than rampant shit talk.

You aren't doing anything GOOD for the community. Quite the opposite. When you show up and start preaching morals, theres plenty of evidence to support the assertion that all it accomplishes is encouraging others to shit talk, something NEGATIVE for the community and disruptive to the server. Deny it all you want, but the fact is that all you're doing is hurting the community rather than helping it.

But by all means, continue being a nuisance until you generate enough complaints to warrant administrative action against you. You continuing to be an asshole and causing yourself to become muted would be the first and only thing you've ever done to HELP the community.

Everyone should play the game the way they enjoy it.  Maybe its sprinting through maps shooting everything you see or maybe its camping.  While I may not like the way someone is playing, I should not try to make them play my way.
A little smack talk is actually a fun part of the game, but some people do take it to the extreme.  I really don't have a problem with the talking because most of the time when I am playing, I completely ignore the comments.  I usually go back after playing a game and see what was said and response then.

The problem is when it keeps going, even after everyone has quit talking shit, for an HOUR or more.  That's when it is intolerable.
