Textures for Q2 maps

I was curious as to what size and type quake 2 textures were needed to be,possibly when using an advanced client like R1Q2. I did a bunch of textures for second life a few years ago and wondered what they'd look like ingame. Dunno nuthin' about making maps at all myself,but if one or two brave souls wants to see for me,then here they are on my website...

stock q2 textures are in .wal format, which has a specific q2 pallet applied to it.

you can convert/make them using wally, which was designed just for this:

in the newer clients, .jpg and .tga are supported as long as you name them the same and put them in the same path as the .wal textures. I think .png works in r1q2 as well, but not some others.

DM server is fucked. 2 point blank rockets from spawn and lava damage and player survived? WTF?" Also someone has fucked with the spawn points, every single time no matter how big the map you spawn right in front of the person who killed you last
