Stupid Advertisements

I'm pretty critical of advertisements that I hear. Most of them involve lying to you in some way shape or form. I honestly try to remember good ones and viciously ridicule the bad. The favorite example is: "The more you spend the more you save." A classic lie that's supposed to be a catchy slogan.


So anyway, here's one I saw for Diablo III:
"In the end, justice will fall"

Huh? Justice? That's an odd virtue to choose. Diablo's obviously after Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Sexist bastard!


It's one of those many slogans trying to sound cool but ending up just being stupid. Any others that just kind of irk you?

I've been especially irked by the "rich dad/poor dad" advertisements lately. There is one where their spokeman says "investors never have to retire."

I mean I suppose that if you invest your entire retirement and lose it, you can't retire. So he's definitely right about that.
