Override

I would like to playon the vanilla server, but all my original Quake 2 maps have override at the end and they wont load. I dont know what it means.

for example base2   is base2.bsp.override


Anyone as any idea why and how i can fix it?

You'll need a pak0.pak from the commercial version of Quake II. 

Should be at: Quake2/baseq2/pak0.pak  (183,997,730 bytes)

(I'm not allowed to make the file available for download for copyright reasons.)

Bah i just bought Quake 2 from steam, to get that Pak0 file and i can't find the steam folder.


I think i erased my old one a long time ago.

It should be in a location similar to:

C:/Program Files/Valve/Steam/SteamApps/common/quake 2/baseq2/pak0.pak
