<sYnth|Scooby> btw i once ran it full screen in one of the weird as resolutions on this monit that go in 120hz, my native is 1920  but also 1600 x 900 can run 120hz (cant run fuslcreen though) and also 1680x1050 i was able to run 120hz.

um i have had this problem in the past, if u r referring to when u first load q2 it doesn't go full screen? from memory u have to muck around with the resolution settings ect on the moitor itself

If it won't go fullscreen it's usually because the screen ratio isn't supported. Would help if you could tell what monitor he's using.

Could have to do with the drivers, the display basic display config, the video device, the display device/monitor. Might help to get the full specs.

I don't even mess with those ultra high res settings. Maybe if I was playing on a bigger screen I'd have more of a reason to. Shrug. I like my old 1024 and 800x600 settings. They are solid. I used to use 320x back in the day.

1680x1050 is a supported res with r1gl you dont need to force it
