Compile & run custom q2map

Using the GTKRadiant 1.5 source I've gotten the q2map code to compile, placed it in my gtkradiant 1.5.0 folder, but when I select a build option in gtk, q2map crashes.

Has anyone else ever compiled & run it?

I assume build means to run bsp/vis/light?

  From time to time worldcraft will crash like that when I run a map.  Sometimes renaming the file fixes it. Sometimes its a new part of the map it doesn't like.
I experimented with radiant when I played q3 for a bit, but never did anything serious with it.  Wish I could help more.

If build means something else then ignore my statements, everything up to "wish I could help more"
