EGL crashing

Constantly having my EGL program crashing on me.  After it crashes the first time I come back in and it crashes immediately again.  It only says that EGL.exe has stopped working.  Sometimes it gets so bad that it freezes up everything and I have to totally unplug the computer.  Just don't get it as I haven't downloaded anything lately.  Its like a flu bug waiting to attack.  Haven't been able to find out if EGL is colliding with any other programs yet.  Anyone know if there are issues with other programs?

could try just re-installing egl, not that hard and it shouldnt mess with any of your settings or anything if your just replacing existing files with the same thing

dunno if it would work but hey its worth a try and not hard to do

other than that i would start shutting programs down and see if any of them are conflicting with it, if youve installed anything recently or anything has updated recently start with that, otherwise just reboot your computer and start from scratch, start up the programs you normally run one by one until there is a problem

Yeah, I already tried the reinstall and even replaced the anticheat dll, but I am thinking its a conflict with another program as its inconsistent.  But yeah, I will have to try different things to see if one stands out.  Thanks man.

Hmm, can't even get it to go into the game now.  I can load EGL, then select multiplayer, then select the server.  Once I engage which server I want the screen blinks blank, then back to the main menu, then back and forth a few times before it says egl.exe has stopped working and then I am forced to leave.  I tried downloading the newest ATI Catalyst program but it wouldn't install all the way and wouldn't say more on why.  Not sure what is going on here but I can't connect.  Might as well try without EGL and see what happens I guess.

I only had a problem when I used goto to change servers. Then EGL dId what you describe.  Reinstalling EGL fixed it.
