Why has my good ping (20-100) turnsed into a bad ping(150-350)?   

Someone of you are close to the tastyspleen servers, some of you are not, but that is not the reason, nor a big difference.  the problem is not necessarily on tastyspleens end, but more than likely yours.  Your ISP's network or the routing of your packets throughout the internet may be the culprit.  I myself have not had this problem, but I have seen people with 30-50 avg pings jump upto as high as 800 before.  unfortunately theres not much you can do about this except maybe call your ISP and complain, and even that won't prolly get you anywhere either.  If it only happens sometimes, then you'll have to deal with it.  If its on and off constantly, contact your ISP, and if it isn't resolved, then it's time to change!

NOTE: Changes in your set rate, or your MTU Registry settings can also cause these problems because you may get packet loss as a result.
