q2 bots

could someone tell me how i would run a local server with a bot but rails only? i downloaded tourney launcher but couldn't get it to work. and also if i go to run eraser bot with normal q2 instead of r1q2, my gun view is stuck on middle view and won't change so i can see it. i change handedness and it does nothing
