quake 2 windows 7

I tried to run beefquake to export avi and it's slow on my system, so I used a faster system.  Crashed because it's Windows 7 x64.  I try to run normal quake 2 and fraps on that system, and opengl doesn't work, and software mode looks totally messed up.  I clicked compatiblity mode, and run as administrator.

This is a Raedon 9100, any ideas?

quake runs fine on my win7 x64... would need more information about your environment

This is a Gigabyte motherboard with a Radeon X1900 video card , 4GB of RAM and a Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 CPU.  I have seen no other issues, other than quake doesn't run right, althought I haven't played any games on it.  Driver is 8.56.15 for the video card.

Just built a mini itx dual core atom with ION graphics running win7 x64 and it seems fine running r1q2!

Can we ban these bots in DM and other servers that just spam bad jokes non-stop? I tried to join earlier and it took me 15 minutes to get in because there were about 10 of them connected
