It's like TF2 style but Battlefield 1942. Same concept as quakelive.

It's cartoony looking. Same battlefield gameplay, although now you can rank up your soldier with an xp/points system. There are jeeps, tanks, and planes you can operate and it's domination based gameplay.

As for BF Heroes, it's basically Battlefield-Hammer. It's some battlefield gameplay mixed mainly with the gameplay of War Hammer RvR matches. There's leveling and skill sets. There's clerics, fighters, assasins. They just have guns instead of ridiculously over exaggerated axes and swords.


It's fun for sure, and the shotgun battles with soldier class are very Q2-esc.. but it's still a new cookie cutter game like they have been pumping out non-stop for xbox.

It's an open beta, so you just register an account on their website, register for a beta key, and they should send it out the same day.

wouldn't the correct term be "windwaker style" vs "tf2 style"?  Nintndo make that look popular in popular games & got a lot of flack for it.  Seems like cheating them to give the credit to an IP valve bought.
