Im not sure exactly how you 'slapped' me, but if it was with the stupid ass irc fish than yeah of course I didnt respond... should have tried a pm, and I didnt change my name to cartsleep untill midnight that night MY time... like I would go to sleep at 6 in the evening... I think you've got ur times messed up or something, and I COULDNT pm you because I could never FIND you on irc... didnt list what channels you idle, didnt see you in #tastyspleen OR #q2players etc. Im not gonna hunt you the fuck down, I used the gamethread to post, obviously posting more than you did... exactly what laurelin told me to do in the 1st place. and yeah I was home all day sunday, once again- if you 'slapped' me with the fish no, I dont respond to that... I dont SIT at my computer all day, you could have easily pm'd me and I would have noticed it because I check my computer every hour or so. O well, just take your lucky breaks as they come. dont debate. just like I said, take advantage of it... if I care to play anymore in the tourney then I will do my best to get back to you just to prove who SHOULD have moved on. gg lmao

aww nvrmind, and i left my pc on for 3days and u didnt pm me once...ur saying i did little but if u look at the facts you did nothing at all. in my opinion u wouldnt have beat me- but again thats my opinion. Exactly, I don't.
Which is the point of a Gamethread - if you don't exculpate yourself in a way that I will notice it. Then better luck next time - I for one do not have the time to investigate every BYE-situation in asking who did try and not. I make a call on what Ive seen. If everyone would schedule their game in the gameThread there would be no situation like this.

2. How can you consider one trying harder than the other? The main issue here was a different time zone, and with this being an american tournament, dont you think it should be run on an American schedule? Scream staying up til 6 am is irrelevant, sorry.

I consider, like I said, from what I see. If you don't care about displaying your efforts then too bad for you. The fact that most of the players, or all the servers are US doesnt mean it's an american tournament - and admins cannot base the schedule on american timezone - because PLAYERS 'schedule' their matches - EST and PST players have three hours difference, 2 more hours difference isn't much a difference - Both players have to work their schedule.

And yes, staying up until 6AM is relevant, it shows that he tried to be present in the most probable hours of cartman's activity.

3. And how does scream being on irc weekends and weekend nights considered "effort" when cartman clearly said in his first post: "(weekends goin out time for me)". HOW DOES SCREAM GET CREDIT FOR HIS "EFFORT" WHEN HE TRIED TO CONTACT CARTMAN THE ONLY DAYS HE SAID HE WAS FOR SURE NOT ABLE TO PLAY.

It happens that when both players haven't been able to play their match in the week - they will make additional efforts to play it in the week-end, duh.

4. " inquiring info about cartman's status. " Yes, scream did this, and i was one of the people to whom he got information from. I told him (friday evening) that his best luck would be to reach cartman sat/sun during the daytime. SCREAM WAS NOT ON DURING THESE TIMES. Yet, you say that he put forth more effort.

Funny, cause I recall talking to scream both sat and sun. perhaps you weren't ON to witness it?

effort isnt trying hard to get a hold of someone when your doing it the times they said they wouldnt be on i was never flaming you, i said it wasnt anyones fault. I just believe that the people incharge of this tournament need to realize what it is and not be control freaks.

WHATEVER! why is everyone arguing... simple fact is scream got lucky. let him have it.  I would take it if I were him too. Admins aren't always right, but thanks for gettin my back anyway haunted. no reason in taking this further. Its a simple tourney with SIMPLE people. Like I said, I wont be trying hard anymore... its fruitless, well unless you consider all the fruits lmao
