radeon integrated/motherboard Xpress 200m, only thing telling me that is this site
http://reviews.cnet.com/laptops/toshiba-satellite-m115-s1061/4507-3121_7-32126751.html
Using XPpro
Used to knowing whats in my machine, like being able to look on the actual card for numbers n such,
This is my first time dealing with a laptop.

Catalyst Software Suite, should install your graphics driver as well.

Found that, when i thought everything was going smooth, but it comes up with
cannot find driver for your hardware or operating system
What shows in device manager as 'video controler (VGA Compatable)' PCI Slot 13 (PCI bus 1, device 5, function 0)
If thats not my radeon then it's not seeing it at all

Refine search... XP... Display...
There is an Intel and ATI driver... if your computer uses a Intel CPU, choose Intel, otherwise ATI.

intel Did that one too earlier, tells me one or more files is corrupt or missing.
Same thing after redownloading and retrying.
ATI just for the hell of it told me INF error and suggested installing standard VGA driver first
Could windows have screwed up already?

Laptops usually come with their own installation cd/dvd, maybe you forgot to install the motherboard/chipset drivers before trying the ati drivers.
Look for a file named AtiCimUn.exe (usually in the ATI install folder), run it and choose to remove all. This will remove everything ati related, then make sure you install the board/chipset drivers prior to installing that Ati Legacy Displaydriver.

Taken care of,
I Had tried to pick the driver, but the list windows gave me didn't include the xpress series....
I installed (accidentally) as a different ati card, and pointed it to the .inf file.
With device manager seeing that as an ati now I tried the drivers again, with the same old effect.
I went to tell it what driver again, and BAM, this time xpress 200 series was in the list.. pointed it to the inf and works fine.
With some more reading, it looks like the location on the pc is listed weird either in ATI software, or Toshibas setup.... and..
anyhow, I stoked to have it working again! Thanks for the support everyone

I don't worship the devil. Jesus is Lord, friend. He died for your sins. He will forgive you if you just ask.
