im sure i am missing alot this is on a gf4 ti 4600 at 1024x768 at the medium settings. and it does get choppy very choppy at times.

My computer has a heart attack every few seconds in this game unless I'm looking into a corner. Then it's smooth. And that's on least graphics setting period! If there are two demons on the screen at once... I have about 3 frames a second. :shock: Yep, gonna have to update the ol' video card if I wanna enjoy...

i got the game also being a fan of the old school doom games. i only played the new doom a few times. it runs smooth for me at certain res settings but even having one of the newer cards out there it gets choppy fps when set to high quality with high res. i changed my video card brightness and the doom brightness is all the way up but its still pretty dark.

i must say q2 still remains at the top of my list for quality gameplay.if you are into graphics i would say you should get this game, they are top quality; but quake 2 still kicks its ass in terms of quality deathmatch. mabie its too early to tell but still, there may never be another game like quake2. i would like to get ahold of the source and a map maker.

i went back in and changed some settings and it seems to run much smoother. i turned off the shadows and bump mapping (Elysium told me about that) and enabled console use as well as changed the r_gamma and it runs way better.

thru bit torrent I got a cd key gen manual hacks cheat trainer 3 bins and cues its awesome the game evne on a geforce 2 i got a super trainer for it i lo9ve doom 3 its alot like quake tho but 1337 gr4pch1cs w00t O_o
