QUAKE 2 REMIX

does anyone have any information on quake 2 remix?

im having trouble finding any information about it, even at idsoftware.com.

i hope it just updates the graphics but keeps it compatable with the old game.

im not really sure about it though, alot of what endears me to quake2 is the hundreds of player models and custom maps.

all these new games dont do that.

As far as I know, that's just a little project that Realistic was working on. It's nothing more than a custom pak file and really has nothing to do with coding or clients or any of that kind of stuff.

you had a really badass idea, i thought ID software was making a q2 remix but i guess not.

im going to install it right now!

i would help you but all i can do are skins and textures. i can map but im definately not a professional.

i do alot of hideous looking monster paintings and stuff.

id be down for character models and textures, do you have the know how to make larger skin maps for the enemies? i could reskin them in better detail.

im an artist and am a tard about technical things. id like to help though.
