PTBlues caught in comcast oregon ban

Just wondering how this can get cleared up... I'm the real PTBlues and not elppen. I want to play Quake2 at tastyslpeen, however my friend elppen seems to have gotten all comcast users in our area banned.

For whatever good it's worth.
1. PTBlues is an incredible Quake player, crummy PC, similar but different ip than elppen's. (right?)
2. PTBlues knows elppen in person, definately a different human. elppen might have used my name.
3. PTBlues has watched elppen play first hand, no apparent cheating going on. (true, but can't be proven) I don't know how it can proven elppen hacks by watching a demo. I'd simply argue he's one of the best players still around today.

This really stinks guys, fouling up a ten-year-old game. I don't mind hangin out at pepp5's (better ping for me, awesome players) but now people are coming halfway across the world calling me a hacker. Great. I'd blame elppen, but I can't because I know him, and can't prove to anyone he's a cheater or not.

So can I be unbanned? (kingcouch, Jambi, and the countless others) lol, what a mess! -PTBlues

Good try with the whole "elppen doesn't wallhack" line, but plenty of people agree that he has been wallhacking from multiple occasions when we spectated him, including demos.

interestingly enough you type just like him, raise the same points he has tried to use to get unbant in the past, and you share an alias and a general geographical location with a hacker.

Plenty of skilled players in this community have been able to verify it by playing him and comparing and contrasting his ability to locate his opponent with his relative inability to move intelligently in a manner that would allow for him to locate his opponent by legitimate means.

he does not scan for players. he repeatedly dives into open areas with apparent foreknowledge of their position when he did not necessarily have any way that he could have heard or spotted them, or he starts hiding and peeking before he could know that an enemy is about to do the same from behind a wall they've been silently standing behind.

guessing only goes so far, and what he has been recorded and watched doing, is not legitimate quake 2 playing with some lucky guesses.

If you really aren't him and you do know this idiot and choose to associate with and lie for him, then I'm not sorry for you.
